WHAT EYECARE SERVICES DOES OHIP COVER?
Routine eye exams are covered by OHIP for anyone under the age of 20, aged 65 or older, or with a specified medical condition or disease. Additional government resources are available to support those under Ontario Works, ODSP, and those with refugee status.
OUR OPTICAL RETAIL DIRECT BILLING PARTNERS
When you purchase glasses or contact lenses at Eyeglass Gallery, we may be able to bill your employee benefits, group health or private insurance company directly. If you have any questions regarding what is covered by your insurance, it is best to reach out to your provider directly.
We currently work with the following group insurance providers in order to direct bill:
